My mother’s family were all Catholic. My uncle is not practicing, and attends Church infrequently, but not for religious reasons. He goes to “look at the women”, in the words of my grandmother. He has acute lead-poisoning, though, and when he was 19 he suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for 3 weeks. He is 52 now, and has had mental problems all of his life since then. If due to these problems he cannot be faithful, would God hold this against him?

None of us can judge him, but all of us can pray for him… and I will!
Jesus, our Lords peace be with You.
Dear friend,I see that You are truly worried. I can’t ansver Your question for sure, but looking at the whole picture I think God’s grace and forgivness will along with ours, and Your, prayers will be heard. Medical advises I can’t give, but I am sure that people are blind and can’t hear and for those reason maybe not are able to understan or recievie God’s garce as we can, will most certanly go to Heaven,so Your uncle are not nessecery responsibel for his action, and I know God will both see and understand. My friend,You must love him a lot,so let that love be his road to Heaven, one persons faith can and will replace faith for someone who maybe not are so sure about his believes in Christ,so pray for him,and maybe, just maybe,he for some reason are ashamed to confess his faith,he might see it as a weakness, who am I to say,but that can be one reason. But whater will happend,Gods grace and forgivness is so big that non of us can understand it. Be in peace,God is with You,and Your uncle.
