Is it o.k. to use a Saint Joseph Home sellers kit?

I know several people who are trying to sell their homes currently and one of my friends mentioned the Saint Joseph home sellers kit.
I have been Catholic my entire life and have never heard of this.
She said you put the statue in the ground and say prayers.
Is this right?
Is this in line with the Catholic church teachings?
Does someone know the specifics and the exact prayer that would be acceptable or is this not even something I should be consider?
