Is it OK to continue reading Protestant writers?

I have been Catholic since Sept 2000, There are still a handful off Protestant writers I am drawn back to. (Other than Lewis, because he is apparently okay. I don’t buy everything they say, but there are itches each of these scratch that I can’t find addressed in CatholicChurch

Is this wrong, or just risky? The folks who still speak are Andrew Murray, Phillip Yancey, Tony Evans, Andrew Wommack.

I keeo re-reading Peter Kreeft to try to be more Catholic, but they doesn’t really contradict him
