Is it OK to show up at communion on Sunday & leave right after if I attended Saturday evening mass the previous day?

No, we’re talking about legal reasons here. Not social customs. If we were talking social customs, the thread would have lasted about three posts. It’s socially unacceptable to do what you’re describing.
Ummm…not here where it happens all the time without any complaints from the hierarchy whatsoever…? 🤷 And no, it’s not just legal obligations- it’s just obligations, a duty that breaching it carries recognized consequences for “the offender”.

Ummmmm…then why are we still talking about it? I give up.
I’m not asking about the daily mass practice- I’m convinced there’s nothing barring it, I was asking only about Sunday which I’ve discovered can be “attended” Saturday evening.

This whole argument about communion at daily mass without attending the full mass is going on only because I mentioned it as precedent in my discussions/question about the Original query here and many were offended and challenged this statement of mine; Then it started going back and forth. I’m sorry you’re frustrated- I’m not encouraging the practice, I just defended my use of it as a precedent by showing why I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong.

No offense intended on my part.

Emphasis mine - I have personally answered that three times. That’s why I asked why it was still being discussed.

Regarding any “offense”, there has been none taken I assure you. I simply can’t answer the question any differently than I and several others have already answered.

And I thank you for answering. 👍 But please note that people have been posting to me challenging my statements and I have only been responding to them- I am not the one dragging this conversation on forever.
