Is it acceptable to pacify my one year old with food during Presanctified Liturgy? I am a cantor and would like to participate as much as possible; however, leaving the nave with him during his rambunctiousness is difficult from my physical position in the church. Unfortunately, there is not always someone who is willing to watch him. If foregoing the role of cantor during this time is preferable, I would understand.
