So i stop going to church sometimes because sometimes the subject of the rapture comes up. Ive been living with fear of God arrival since 2012. But i do miss that positive vibe you get after mass. Any suggestion on how to be a good catholic without going to church

We are to only fear God and not fear anything else.

You must not be Catholic? Catholics don’t believe in or have preaching about the rapture.

The rapture isn’t a Catholic teaching. The end won’t most likely happen anytime soon. You should instead focus on praying to God for your fear to be redirected and useful, so that it can make you grow in virtue. The best way to face this fear is frequent confession, weekly if you can. Go to Church every Sunday and take communion if you are not in a state of mortal sin. Missing mass on purpose is a mortal sin. It won’t do you any good opting out of it. Remember that anytime you could face God’s judgment, if death finds you. This is why you should be prepared and always striving for holiness like the saints.
God Bless

If you’re not a Catholic, consider going to a deacon or priest to get guidance.

If you are a Catholic (or if you’re not a Catholic and don’t like the first priest or deacon you run into), go to a different church where they should have an acceptable homily. Even priests make mistakes, sin, and get old so if one doesn’t meet your needs and their speech from the pulpit is not only not with 100% biblical but is the antithesis of being biblical, it’s time to go to another church.

Many hugs and best wishes on getting back into the church or choosing to become a Catholic. A great show is Called to Communion - it’s on YouTube and on EWTN radio at 2PM EST & sometimes at 11PM EST.

If you’re missing Mass through fear of the end of the world: please consider that the world will end at exactly the same time whether you go to Mass or not. The only effect of refusing Mass will be on you, and it will not be a good effect.

Also as has been pointed out the rapture is not a Catholic teaching.
Please, talk to your priest.

The concept of mutual incompatability comes to mind…church attendance is very important to being a good catholic. Though I went twenty odd years with only occasional visits, I am back now don"t think I was really happy that whole time with myself…

With respect to your question, it is not possible to be a “good Catholic” without regular Mass attendance, and if you miss Mass on Sunday without a good excuse like illness, you’ve committed a sin.

What you describe is not “fear of God” because if you really had “fear of God” you’d be running to Church due to not wanting to offend him. It sounds more like you are having anxiety attacks that are preventing you from attending church. Please don’t fall into this habit and please do speak to a priest.
