Is it okay to pray Divine Office

No good reason. I just ran out of things I wanted to pray about and felt a few of the psalms from Sext would be fitting. From now on I’ll just be internally silent and contemplative in that situation.

Picking psalms from the Divine Office to pray after communion is a far different beast than praying the Divine Office in the middle of Mass, which is what I and most people here likely thought you meant. I myself pray the Canticle of Daniel and Psalm 150 after communion every Sunday.

Different topic for a different thread but I ask you , does it meet the requirements of the catechism and the Magisterium for full and active participation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?

Of course it’s does. If it was against the Catechism, they wouldn’t have confession during Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.
