Is it possible for a Christian to be a trusted person in a business that only officially and not in reality owns a business?

Sometimes very wealthy people officially entrust part of their growing estate to other dummies.
This phenomenon exists in countries where oligarchs rule, and also in any other country.
Rich people have a credit of trust, and if they find a trusted person, then business is theirs, but according to the documents this trusted person is the owner.
It is clear that people do not like the very rich anywhere, and the very rich hide their money in offshore, suitable banks, and in the assets of trusted people.
The question is, is it worthy for a christian to become such a trusted person?
If you were nobody and you were found in the trash of life and helped to get rich due to the fact that you officially own someone’s business and get your interest for it, what’s wrong with that?
I ask this question because for example in the countries like Russia or Ukraine, or Middle Asia of ex-Soviet world ( Most likely also - in Latin America, and in any other country in the world.) this is a common occurrence. Oligarchs sometimes find people on whom they officially draw up assets.

Assuming it’s legal and that, to the best of the Christian’s knowledge, the business is a legitimate business and not a front for anything nefarious going on like money laundering, I’m not seeing a problem.

There are many reasons why the main person or entity who owns or controls a business might want to stay anonymous or operate through a trusted person in the community.

So, there is no moral problem in still being such an official owner? Do better personal lives and, if possible, the lives of others through personal excellence and growing prosperity?
Ok, but there are certain instances that do not tolerate dummies in business, for a number of reasons, also your success will depend on your patron. If the shark is derailed, then there is a risk that something that you have accumulated will also derail.
This happens from time to time, most often in developing third world countries.

The idea of being a business owner or a business investor or participating in commerce is not inherently immoral. Jesus used parables involving business and commerce. Followers of Jesus had their own businesses.

Moral problems depend on a specific situation, such as the specific intention, purpose and practice of a particular business. If it is money laundering, a front for the mob, cheating its customers, selling immoral items, using child labor etc those are the moral issues. Not just “operating a business”.

And sometimes just theft,as is the case of corrupt politicians. What we call “ testaferros” is illegal. In order to avoid taxes, assets go under another person hiding the real owner.
We have very serious problems with that, and a hard job for Justice… Even with effort, tracing every step. Corrruption at its best in many cases.
Accomplices.
Or when it is stolen from public resources , plain theft.
“Oligarchs “isn t in my vocabulary. Corruption is, yes…unfortunately…

Yeah that’s a good point. People in different countries aren’t necessarily familiar with all the corporate structures or ways somebody does corruption in a foreign country. This is primarily a US forum with some people from Canada and Europe. I wouldn’t have the faintest idea about corporate structures in, say, Russia.
In the US, a corrupt business would be one that was set up to do something illegitimate like fund mafia or terrorism or launder criminal money. “Not paying taxes” isn’t necessarily a crime or a sin because there are a lot of legitimate legal ways to avoid taxes and that’s how tax attorneys stay employed.

Don’t participate in crime. Aside from that, be a good and faithful steward for your boss
