So what? How is that relevant to anything? You asked for a definition of reform. I gave you the Catholic definition of reform.
You seem hung up on this word thinking it only means moving to Protestantism which of course is wrong!!

I still prefer the DRB because in English, the words “do penance” are performative and can not be confused with a purely mental assent or change of opinion.

But ultimately, there is little to no difference between them, because it has to be taken in context. So I would not fault the other translations.

I agree with you. I think sehacopian sees a problem when there is no problem.
