They clone the cells from the kidney. You don’t need new fetuses, just keep cloning the same ones. The cells themselves are not operational-- I understand they don’t function as cells function-- they’re essentially dummy cells and they’re used to test chemical reactions.

In this case, a new principle needs to be introduced; we may never do evil so that good may come of it. Likewise, it follows that an act may never be done in which we intend to derive good as a direct result of evil.

As for how remote, precisely, the evil needs to be… Remote enough that you either can be sure you’re not contributing to it, or else, remote enough that you’re not aware you’re supporting evil.

The issue isn’t who told who to do what. The issue is; I’m about to perform an action. Can I trust that this action won’t support evil?

Now, if there’s some doubt; if you’re not sure, or have some reason to doubt that your action will be used to bring about evil, it’s a different story, but Pepsi has made it quite clear that that’s not the case.
