does one need religion to be moral?First, because we are more than a collection of empty space and charged particles. We have intellect and reason. We contemplate the unknown. Those of us with faith accept that there is more out there than more empty space and charged particles. We hold that there is God (in Christian thought). In order to know God, we use the tools that he gave to us, one of which IS religion.
Second, we are by our nature selfish. Religion should force us out of our comfort zone to help others.
Finally, we tend not to love but to lust and use. It is through the Christain faith that we can see the higher importance of other people and not treat them like sex objects.
we have Disney now. hehe… at least
america does anyway.
wow, you just basically said that only
christians can see their loved ones
in a higher importance. we all know
that’s not true.
