Please pardon my ignorance but I feel Mary is taking the role of god our father because we are supposed to ask him to give us Jesus his loving son but we instead ask this to Mary.I know Mary is my heavenly mother and the ark of the new testament and she is blessed but I guess we are asking Mary to give us Jesus instead of asking God our father please answer so my doubts may be clear and I can glorify God.

Mary isn’t taking the role of God Father nor it will ever be like that.
Mary isn’t the one who give us something from herself because she isn’t God but she is asking God to give us something. In this case when she gives us Jesus it is that Jesus comes to us through Mary by her plea.
She doesn’t have any power by herself without God. And God Father is also Father of Mary as is of every human.
You can be peaceful when asking Mary to give you Jesus and to lead you to Him.
Glory God because He created and gave us Mary to be our Mother!

It’s obvious that God intended to establish Mary as our perfect intercessor - a “bridge” - helping us to come into oneness with Jesus. How so? Because He gave us Jesus through Mary in the very first human encounter with Him: He was conceived in her; He was born of her.

God could have created a grown body for the Son, all by Himself, secretly and hidden in the wilderness - and then Jesus could have walked out of the wilderness, alone, and into the towns of Israel to begin His ministry in the world. But He did not give us Jesus in that “easier” way - He did it as He did: through a miraculous conception in a woman - Mary - He did it by being born like us all, and having a mother like us all, and His mother, Mary has continued to be His mother by being our mother IN HIM, spiritually.

Mary can protect us and deliver us just because God gave her power. It is not that she by herself delivers and protects but it is that she does that by God’s power which He gave her. And then she does not keep it as her own and does not possess that power, it is gift. Anything she does she only does by and through that power of God which is given to her. It is not simple to explain.
Try read this, maybe it will be clearer

Yes, simmilar to that. But Mary is even closer to Jesus because she is His mother and that is why is she so important.
When apostles performed miracles in Jesus’s name it was also gift and source of those miracles is God, He gave apostles authority to do that but source was God. They wouldn’t be able to do it only by themselves.
Simmilar thing is also with saints. We don’t pray to them as if they would give us something by themselves but pray them to ask God and pray to Him for us. When we get something through intercession of saint that is because God gave something by their petition, they alone didn’t gave us anything.
Source of everything in this matter is only God.

Your feelings are incorrect. Church teaching is not based on your feelings, or my feelings, or anyone’s feelings.

Mary leads us to Jesus, always. That is a task that God gave her. She always does God’s will. She never takes the place of God.

Mary does not wish to take God’s place in any way, shape or form. And we do not treat her that way.
