Before Confession, I listed down on a paper all of the mortal sins I know, copying what I listed on my phone. I didnt check it if I missed some of them and I was only looking at the list I created and not undergo another examination of conscience. As far as I know, the Confession will be valid when a mortal sin is forgotten if you did a perfect examination of conscience. I also forgot to put in that I withold some sins last confession.

Another situation I have is that when Father was giving his advices, I suddenly remembered that I forgot to confess that I didnt follow the advices last confession that it lead me to fall to sin. I wish to say it but I dont want to interrupt the priest until the confession is done. After the confession I was thinking if I withold that sin and also thinking if that sin is a Mortal Sin or a Venial Sin.

Thank you

It would be helpful to you to read the catechism about confession and then come back and post what you think The answer to your question is.

It’s ok. Honestly forgetting is not a sin. Just write it all down to mention next time.

Mortal sin: full knowledge, full consent.

I’m not super sure if the end thing you mentioned is a sin (you’d have to ask a priest that). However, you don’t have full knowledge either if it is or not. So you just mention it next time and you’re fine for now!!

You appear to suffer from scruples, based on the nature of your last few posts. I advise you to not make these posts and instead seek the advice of your priest. We cannot help you.
