I Converted from a Baptist to Mormonism at a younger age, I was baptized when I converted even though I was baptized before hand as a christian the bishop and missionary instructed me that I would need to again. My question is was my Mormon baptism even valid at all and if it was is my baptism valid in the eyes of the catholic church? The reason I ask is for better understanding and I am going to start RCIA classes when possible.

Mormon baptisms are considered invalid. Mormonism does not have similar Trinitarian beliefs to Christians and therefore cannot intend to do what the Church does in baptism.

Baptist faith communities are generally considered to have valid baptisms, so if you can provide proof of Baptist baptism you would not need to be baptized again.
