Tonight, I was crying my eyes out—I’ve been suffering with debilitating sickness for several years and I have five kids at home and a husband, who are all very helpful, but still I felt like I couldn’t go on. I’ve decided to try to offer up all of my sufferings as a victim soul, but I know you have to be very pure and holy. Now I don’t know if any of my suffering will be valuable until I am able to get to confession. 😦

I’m hoping I can get an answer so I can try to get some sleep? :o

Is this the right place to enter this post? If not, how do I move it?

Thanks!

Short answer is NO!

We all say things in anger or despair. They’re words I’ve said myself more than once, but I’m still here.

Nope!
Both Moses and Elijah came to points in their lives where they asked God to take them. Paul struggled with his desire for Heaven while also desiring to serve the Church. You are struggling with extreme suffering and it is by definition difficult. To come to a point where you say you want to die, just shows how much suffering you encounter and how much you look forward to the time when the suffering is over.

Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone as I take comfort in knowing that you are offering your sufferings for the Church.

Also St. Augustine taught that our joy in Heaven will be directly proportional to our suffering on Earth.

Thank you so much! I cannot tell you how consoling this is. :heaven::gopray2:
