I know that downloading songs is a sin, and so copying and selling movies, or downloading movies.

But what about something like tennis matches?

there are no companies that sell taped tennis matches, neither espn nor the atp or women tennis association sell taped tennis matches.

I have an important collection of matches, and most around the world, in the last 5 years, because f the internet have been able to exchange tapes, because some countries have different coverage of tournaments, or because it si the only way of getting some old match.

if there is a disclaimer expressing that your copying is not allowed, well guess what… it’s wrong and a sin… it’s stealing… people, we have got to get over this “it’s not a sin if i don’t get caught thing” , and i don’t believe for a moment that people don’t know the difference… straighten up and fly right please…

No disclaimer is shown during the tennis matches.

Maybe there is one, that affects all the tv shows?

And I do think it is different, downloading a song is a sin because if you want that song, then, buy the album, because you are stealing from the musician, the same with movies, go watch the movie, rent it, or buy it.

But If you want a tennis match from the 70´s or early 80´s, that is pretty much the only way to get them, from some old fan, who has a big collection of matches in the basement, no tv, or sports company sells matches, probably they dont even have the matches in the archive (why keep them?),and I dont think they will ever put them on sale, because they would lose money, so, you are not stealing I think.

The fact you are selling them is inappropriate, and I think your conscience is bothering you. If you are asking only for the price of the videotape and sharing the information that is another story. I think you know the answer to that one better than I do. Making a profit from something that does not legally belong to you is the issue here and the sin.
