It’s a good question. But, if we stick to the sacraments and the teachings of the church, we steer clear of the “politics in the church”.

Orthodoxy isnt neagativley divisisive! It’s positive!

That depends on a person’s definition of orthodoxy. Some consider anything from Vatican II on to be less than orthodox. That’s one of the reasons the use of labels is so divisive.

My mother used to get it .

It is none of those things you mention @Buddy1 . 🤨

It is Catholic .

e) Catholic.

Why do you want to use divisive labels?
To be fair, different Catholic publications can have vastly different slants/agendas. You wouldn’t say that the National Catholic Register or Catholic Herald is the same as America or the National Catholic Reporter, would you?

There used to be a list of Catholic Publishers written by a Catholic Bookstore.

They had ranked St. Anthony Messenger to sometimes have articles with solid Catholic teaching, often have simply “feel good” articles, and sometimes have problematic articles

So it used to be considered a mixed bag.

However, I think they have been working to fix their reputation since they bought Servant Books and changed their company name to Franciscan Media.

God Bless
