Is tarot reading a sin, and what do I do with the deck?

Hello. First of all i would like to say that im very excited to join this site. Im in my early 30’s and In the past year i have been closer with God and feel great. I try to go to mass every sunday and when im there i talk and pray to God and it feels wonderful. However, i have a big huge concern. Since little about 13 years old i came across a tarot deck. Ive had the deck ever since. I do use it mostly when relationships dont work out and i ask for guidance or what the outcome is going to be. I never ask for spirits to guide me. I instead ask GOD to assist me in the reading. Am i still doing wrong by using the cards even if it is God i ask guidance from? Please let me know. Also, if the case is that it is a sin how do i go about getting rid of the cards in a proper way??? Please help and thank you.
