I have an question about very complicated situation where i feel guilt yet i can say it diffrend way

Well the story goes like this

I read something on wikipedia about the game what it could have lets say a club then i say to another person more than twice with full mind

now here s problem

When i looked at video game it didnt say that it had the club i said twice

did i comit sin of spreading false rumor this way?
because i made another sad and feeling guilty for not looking actual info before spreading something?

something smilar happened to me long time ago as well abour spreading rumor and i wasnt aware i guess i will need to be more carefull what i read next time

I wont trust wikipedia enymore
