Is the Alta Vendita an authentic Free Mason document?

The Alta Vendita is an alleged Free Mason document which details a conspiracy to influence the Catholic Church over decades of gradual cultural and social change. Does anyone know if it is an authentic Free Mason document?
 
According to that article the purported authorship is from a fraternal organization organized in the same manner as the Masons.

There doesn’t appear to be an actual connection between the two from the info you gave.
 
The answer is an emphatic, “No.”

The Italian Carbonari, a political revolutionary organization from Italy, and organized in “cells” in a similar manner to the Masonic Lodge system, is credited with writing the Alta Vendita. The two organizations are oftentimes confused, but they are not one and the same.
