When Jesus rebuked the Sadducees he quoted Exodus 3:6, where God says “ I am the God of Abraham” not “ I was the God of Abraham,” implying that Abraham still lives.
(Sadducees did not believe in an after life)
Jesus also rebuked them saying they did not know scripture as man and woman do not marry but are like the Angels in heaven
(Sadducees only held to the first 5 books of Genesis)
Jesus quoted from one of these 5 books
I can’t find any where else where we are told that angels do not marry other than,
Enoch 15:6 But you from the beginning were made spiritual, possessing a life which is eternal, and not subject to death for ever 15:7 Therefore I made not wives for you, because, being spiritual, your dwelling is in heaven.
So Did Jesus refer to Enoch?
