Is the Carmina Burana a heretical piece?

I seem to recall having heard the Carmina Burana was somewhat of a heretical song, but was never sure if it actually was a heretical because I never got the lyrics…

But - according to the lyrical interpretation below - the video seems to suggest it isn’t to be taken so seriously…

Carmina Burana is not, strictly speaking a song: it is a set of 24 songs, all selected from a much larger medieval collection of student songs, comic songs, drinking songs and so on, set to music by Carl Orff in the 1930s. There is no reason not to listen to it and enjoy it. The work was immensely popular in Nazi Germany, but it isn’t ideological or political in any way at all. It’s fun.
