I listen to Catholic Answers Live on EWTN radio regularly. You guys are great.

I am the RCIA Coordinator for our Parish and I am going monthly meetings this summer for non Catholics who want to learn move about Christianity or maybe considering becoming Catholic. I want to do a short presentation on why The Catholic Church is a Bible based Church. Naturally I will talk about our believe in Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture and the Magistarium.

But do you have a simple answer to the question, Is the Catholic Church a Bible based Church? It is obvious to me that it is but many Protestant Denominations claim that they are and the Catholic Church is not.

Is there a short video that you may know of or something in writing that you could send me to help me in my explanation?

Thanks and God Bless you for your work and what you do to bring souls to our Church.

Hi,

You can say that the Catholic Church is the MOST Bible based because it alone has the authority to interpret it.
