I know the lyrics. My mother had the record. I’m asking you to specifically tell us whar you find offensive and why. Why are the lyrics offensive to you?

To be honest…hard to say, really.

Going back to Michael Voris’s Church Militant website, don’t you suspect that the people who manage it delete comments that are critical of what Voris has said? Do you think Voris is addicted to being offended?

I liked the song when it came out. I haven’t heard it or thought about it in decades. Everything nowadays is going to offend someone. Ignore all the white noise.

Well, Lou2U, I didn’t want to bring up Voris in this thread. However, Irishmom2 wanted to know who found “I Am Woman” to be offensive.
 
You admitted to not knowing why it was offensive in the first place.

@Maxirad well, I wanted to know that too and so did some other users. But if you don’t want to discuss him, why link to an article he wrote, a transcript of his show, his views on Church Militant, question his ability to take criticism, and suggest that his website may or may not delete critical comments?

I’ll echo @Irishmom2 - why are you reading this stuff?

A link to show from August of last year at that. So you had to go digging for that one, as Voris did to drag that song into the mud to make his irrational comments.

Well, Lou2U, The Vortex has a certain train-wreck quality to it. Listening to an episode often gets me riled up enough in order for me to start my day.

@Maxirad, but linking to his stuff saying “check out this” or similar is also misleading to a significant degree. Because it suggests what you’re linking to is a trustworthy source. When you know it isn’t.
