Is the Vatican's social justice arm in league with communists?

Wow, it’s just sad that there aren’t any organizations that can care about social justice without being commies.
 
Reminds me of that quote from Archbishop Helder Camara: “When I feed the hungry, they call me a saint. When I ask why people are hungry, they call me a communist.”

I think there’s a big difference between asking why people are hungry and helping to organize parades that include soviet flags and banner-portraits of Karl Marx, don’t you agree?

This is disgraceful. How can we Catholics protest against birth control provisions in Obamacare when the Church is supporting abortion groups? Heads better roll.

We all know where the Catholic Church stands on all these issues, and we also know where the kinds of Jack Chick stand, why don’t the media attack all these 40,000 Protestant denominations and leave the One Holy Catholic Church alone, because we have these idiots always blaming the Catholic Church I think now its about time to stop turning the other cheek as it looks like “We don’t care” We need to be very vocal like the Moslems and Jews are. Down with Media Rubbish and dishonesty and false reporting.

Nope … I’m saying that the quote doesn’t really apply because there is a difference between what the Archbishop said and what Caritas Internationalis is doing. HUGE difference.

Are you saying that the video report here is false reporting? I don’t see this as attacking the Church at all, but as defending the Church from the perverse actions of some of Her members.
 
ALL periodically publishes a grants report on organizations who receive Catholic money from the bishop’s agencies such as the CCHD and CRS, both of which work against the moral teaching of the Church and are in violation of the Motu Proprio issued by Benedict on charitable giving.

Here is the last one I received, and it is quite obvious huge sums of money are going to socialist and left wing causes which includes all manner of anti-life activities.

This has been exposed over and over again and sometimes the more blatant offenders lose their funding, but others take their place. So take a quick peek at this :eek: and then move right along…nothing here to see, folks! :rolleyes:

I had to laugh a while back when a thread was started as to which organization we could donate to in order to help the Iraqi Christians. I linked to a non-Catholic web site and a poster scathingly said Catholics should not be giving to anything non-Catholic!!!

Looking at some of the activities in the report posted above will tell you why I refuse to give to most Catholic social justice groups.
