What is the best way to go to confession, face-to-face or behind the screen? Especially, if you know the priests?
I’ve been avoiding confession because I don’t know what is the right way and I don’t want to mess up.
 
The best way to go to confession is in honest repentance for our sins. The priest has the option of whether to allow face to face or to require everyone confess behind the screen. Whatever set up the priest permits is acceptable for you to choose.
You don’t need to worry about “messing up” because the priest will be glad to help you through whatever you need help with.
