Is there a difference between areas with prevailing Christianity and areas where people have not heard of Christianity (Catholicism)?
If there is, it means that God prefers some areas (nations) over others.
If not - why do we need Christianity?

It is not God’s fault that Christianity prevails in some areas …and in other areas it does not.

It is Gods will that “all men be saved” and He gave the charge to His church " Go therefore and teach all nations"

If Christianity does not spread it is due to either the teachers, the students, or the prevailing government over students that refuse to permit the gospel to be spread.

In ANY case ( and you can find the above road blocks ALL OVER THE WORLD… ) God can still instruct and aid (and work outside the church/gospel/sacraments) with anyone of sincerity who is willing to follow Truth to the best of their knowledge and experience in this life.

Jesus said " I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life" …truth is Christ Himself and any one of good will and sincerity can come to understand TRUTH to a certain degree in life as their knowledge of things and life experiences allows them to…and of course they still benefit from the body of CHrist, the church…from her graces and from the one and for all sacrifice of Christ the Church up holds in the Mass through the Holy Eucharist and can therefore still be fed by it supernaturally.

That’s why I wrote - “areas where people have not heard of Christianity”.

That’s the point, where more people “who is willing to follow Truth to the best of their knowledge and experience in this life” - in the areas with prevailing Christianity or where no one ever hear about Christianity?

I’m not understanding your question
I’ll try to explain it.

Take, for example, 16th century Australia.
before European settlement in the late 18th century, Australia was inhabited by indigenous Australians, who belonged to one or more of roughly 250 language groups. After discovery by Dutch explorers in 1606, Australia’s eastern half was claimed by Great Britain in 1770 and settled through penal transportation to the colony of New South Wales from 26 January 1788
So no one hear about Christianity.
According to Christianity, there’s a possibility that after death a person goes to hell.
Assume that an average of 99.98% Australians end up in hell.

Europe at the same time. Christianity is predominant.
The question is - how many people in Europe in average end up in hell, 99.97%, 99.98% or 99.99%?
Any answer to this question does not bode well for Christianity.

Where I go wrong?

There would be a big difference if those who claim the Catholic name would live according to the teachings of the Magisterium. Where there is little or no difference is in places where the majority of Catholics are non-practicing or nominal.

If there is a difference, even little, it is unfair, isn’t it? Do not forget we are talking about people going to hell.
Again, if there is no difference, why do we need Christianity?

We shouldn’t think that if people have not heard of Jesus then they will go to hell. The Church does not teach this.

The Church also does not teach that more people go to hell in areas where Jesus is not known.

You are right to ask if there is a difference and you would expect for Christianity to be true that there would be a difference although the Church does not teach this.

Christianity started with 11 men in a room 2000 years ago. Today 1/3 of the planet are Christian and many more have knowledge of it should they wish to investigate. The ‘information revolution’ in Christian lands means that very soon everyone will have the opportunity to know about Christianity.

I think perhaps you are looking at the glass half empty instead of half full. If God has acted in the world and sown the seeds for his Church in humanity then there has to be a finite amount of time for that Church to spread. God does not favour one race over another but the incarnation had to happen somewhere and has to take some time to spread.
