As a Catholic that obviously believes that there were some shady things clergy did I would like to know how one goes about tackling Martin Luthers’ infamous 95 Theses. My Lutheran friend tends to bring it up once in a while whenever the opportunity rises. I feel like the beauty of the Renaissance opened up a very very misconstrued narrative and misinformed teaching of Church Authority and it’s pivotal role in the World and 95 Theses seems to be a “Trump card” for any Protestant to use.
Any help from my seasoned Catholic Apologetics would be appreciated
