Or, an easy book or site that can explain the different forms of Mass, like the Novus Ordo and the TLM? I find that I’m really a doorknob about these two things.
TIA!
TIA!
Briefly, the OF = the “typical” Mass you will find at your “average” Catholic parish. Typically in the vernacular, typically versus populum (priest facing the people).Oh, I didn’t mean that at all–I was reading on another thread about the TLM or Novus Ordo (can’t remember which) and realized that I really know nothing about either one of them.
Though given that I’m a toddler in Catholic terms, that’s no surprise.Hope it’s okay to ask!

Thanks this is usefulHere’s a blog post of mine in which I compare the structure and prayers of the two forms of the Roman Rite.
