Is there a psychological term to describe a person’s tendency to believe a claim made about an enemy or opposing view in order to condemn discredit him/her/it without examining the evidence for the claim?

Prejudgment: i.e. making a decision before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case is commonly called prejudice.

Bigotry is the state of mind of a bigot: someone who, as a result of their prejudices, treats other people with hatred, contempt, and intolerance on the basis of a person’s ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or other characteristics.

These conditions are frequently typical of persons who are cognitively limited, and mentally inflexible so that they are black and white/concrete.

Not sure if Prejudice is suitable, but more or less of the sort, at least!
