Is there a response to the New Atheism?

I have recently been reading Dan Barker’s Godless. Has anyone written a response to his book, or are there books and web sites out there you could refer me to deal with his arguments? I found the book to be full of generalizations and sarcasm. His biblical criticisms I found to be lacking.
