Is there an online Catholic concordance?

I, too, found the “Page Not Found” announcement, but was unable to go beyond that.

Did you find an on-line DR concordance, and, if so, would you kindly provide the link?

When you are on the page that says not found there is a place on the left that say something about copy rights click on that then on the right you will see the menu and should be able to work from there.
Let me know how you make out.

Yes, eSword is not done by a Catholic, but they do offer the Vulgate in Latin, several Greek versions of Scripture, among many others that are in the public domain. The translations of the passage on Eucharist are fairly similar across most translations. These are some of the things I very much like about the program. I would recommend downloading and trying it and add-on some other versions. If you do not want to do this, use Biblia Clerus - clerus.org/bibliaclerus/index_eng.html (I use both because e-Sword’s search feature is far superior to BC).

The problem with this passage is not the translation, but the interpretation. Protestants, you might be aware, generally accept only the literal reading of the text except in this case, I suspect because if Catholics take it literally, they refuse, hence the title PROTEST-ant (I recognize there are many variations, but since there is not Protestant ***heirarchy ***or magisterium, these kinds of generalizations must be accepted, as long as we understand there are variations in the Protestant world).

I went to e-Sword, but this is done by a Quaker or Friends husband & wife team. Yes it is free - but, I do not think it is Catholic.

I was impressed with their web-page, and the fact that they announced in accordance with Matthew’s verse, “Freely have you received, freely will you give.”

I am guessing that you have used e-Sword, have you noticed any divergence from Catholic teaching? For example, how does John 6:21-71 in e-Sword compare with Catholic teaching?

By the way, I took the opportunity to visit your part of the country - actually I graduated from the College of Santa Fe in '69 … at the rate I am aging, I am tempted to say, “1769”! We came over a mountain and spread out before us was White Sands - everything as far as could be seen was beige … except for this amazingly white spot!

We are having a serious drought in Texas … and, if we are not careful we will be starting to look like a big beige spot!!
