Hello, I recently listened to a talk by Christopher West. He stated that hell on earth is being a slave to pleasure; addictions to sex, drugs, money, etc.

If this is hell manifested on earth, then in hell is there any pleasure to be found?

I never heard it put that way. Pleasure in hell?? I doubt it and I would not want to find out. Hell is full of demons who are not there to give one pleasure.Drug addiction, along with sex and money addiction is pure hell, and it brings people false pleasure. Joshua, please do not even entertain any such thoughts of hell Stay far away and stay close to the Merciful and Loving Heart of Jesus God Bless you.🦋🦋.

I like to think of it as being a slave to the devils you were a slave to in life.

When you knew your mum was still really upset with you over something did you happily enjoy her dinner that night?

Here on earth, it seems, the pleasure of the senses or become slaves of vices, satan, but such souls really experience hell on earth because their souls groans for salvation, but alas, they are in chains of sin. therefore there is no pleasure in hell, but only torment and despair especially, when, they have devils as their company.

Job 10:22 the land of gloom and chaos, where light is like darkness.”

Jesus Christ to St. Faustina Kowalska

“One day I saw two roads. One was broad, covered with sand and flowers, full of joy, music, and all sorts of pleasures. People walked along it, dancing and enjoying themselves. They reached the end without realizing it. And at the end of the road there was a horrible precipice; that is, the abyss of hell. The souls fell blindly into it; as they walked, so they fell. And their number was so great, it was impossible to count them. And I saw the other road, or rather, a path, for it was narrow and strewn with thorns and rocks; and the people who walked along it had tears in their eyes, and all kinds of suffering befell them. Some fell down upon the rocks, but stood up immediately and went on. At the end of the road, there was a magnificent garden, filled with all sorts of happiness, and these souls entered there. At the very first instance, they forgot their sufferings.”
