What is the Roman Catholic Position about praying for people who have died suddenly and we know that they were confirmed atheists and mocked God and Christian Workers? Is there any point praying for them or is their doom sealed.
Can we through our prayers make matters better for them.
My second question is
Does Time exist at all in the spiritual world?

michaeljaffrayk,

The following links should assist you in better understanding the Catholic Church’s teaching on salvation for Atheists as well as whether time exists outside our human understanding of it.
