Is this a Mortal sin?

I ate meat on Ash Wednesday. Was recovering from an illness and didn’t mean to but was extremely hungry and gave in when hubby brought in chicken. Now, don’t know if this is a mortal sin or not, and whether can receive Communion tomorrow? Have looked in Catechism but don’t know answer. Please help.
 
Those who are ill can be excused from abstinence and fasting for reasons of health. I’d still recommend confessing it, but I don’t think you committed a mortal sin
