I have typed a link on the bottom which showing a video the way a particular detainee is being treated at a confinement.
Could anyone let me know is this video real or “merely acting”

It’s a reality show about jails. It came out in like 2012.

While the procedure shown is probably one that the cops would use if someone was in danger of harming himself or others (the guy in the video was in danger of seriously hurting himself), a lot of stuff in reality shows is staged for the show. I have a friend who works for one of the reality show channels, and based on his tales I’m very dubious about them being “real”. The man in the restraints also would have had to sign a release to have his face shown and he probably got paid too. I suspect it was at least to some degree staged with a willing participant.

Having said that, I would not mess around with the Salt Lake County police. In that area, they take criminal activity very seriously.
