Is this an argument used for baptism of infants?

If circumcision was the sign of Judaism for males in the OT, What was the sign for females?
In the NT,baptism is supposed to replace or correspond to circumcision as a sign of that special relationship with the God of the Bible. Women are no longer in that special relationship by virtue of birth or are they? ( if baptised as infants in Christian homes) Is this an argument used for baptism of infants?
