No if such behaviour occurred it’s inappropriate, discourteous and unfeeling! When individuals and families are in a vulnerable position of mourning, the focus should be kindness, support and prayer.
This behaviour did not offer good example of Christian compassion to the community of bereaved, and would have alienated rather than convert, I believe.
