Hello,
I might be a little scrupulous, so that’s where my question might come from.
I was reading a novel by an author who I’m pretty sure is Catholic and I noticed this use of the word Heaven. (Example: referring to a place with lots of pretty flowers as a flower heaven)
I know that the use of Holy words in vain is sinful, however, this particular expression seems like a gray area to me. Are such expressions sinful to use? If so, would it be a sin to keep reading the novel ?
Thank you
