Is this gossip?

When I went to Confession, I went first to one priest and he stopped be before I could finish and absolved me (according to my mom, it was because the rest were venial and I said I was scrupulous (I think)). So I went to a second priest and I mostly finished. I told my mom about it and gave the name of the last priest and the idea of who the first priest was. I said it because I thought it was interesting since I have never heard of it happening before and she told me probably why he did it. Is this considered gossiping?

I don’t believe that this experience shared with your mother comes under the heading of the sin of gossip because it does not put either priest in a bad light, nor does it damage their reputations, and I don’t have reason to believe you intended any bad reflection on the first priest.
It did give you and your mother a chance to reflect on whether or not you are scrupulous, however you do of course benefit from confessing your venial sins. However, the first priest may have recognized that some of what you considered venial sins may have been more a matter of scrupulosity, not sin.
