Is this innapropriate?

I’ve always collected old bottles and boxes that I think look cool. One I have now is an old jagermeister (a type of alcohol) bottle that I’ve always really liked. It’s dark green with a square base and rounded at the top. I’m going to be setting up my home altar soon, and I thought I might use this bottle to hold my Holy Water, but it seems slightly wrong. I’ve been debating this for a few days; “Well, it’s just a bottle, and alcohol isn’t actually sinful.” vs. “It’s a sacramental and alcohol can be used sinfully.” The label is gone, though it still says jagermeister on the cap (though I might replace that with a cork anyway) and jagermeister is imprinted in the glass on the sides, but only noticable if you actually look for it.

What do y’all think? Fine, pushing it but ok, pushing it so don’t do it, or straight out wrong?

I am thinking of using an old peanut butter container to collect my Holy Water this Easter, though, so I may not be the most reliable authority on the matter. (I’m planning to decorate it with an image of The Baptism of Christ in the Jordan.)
 
Oh, I like that idea. Maybe I could even cover up the writing on the sides with another picture. Maybe Our Lady on one side and St. Joseph on the other, with Christ being baptised on the front.

In my mother’s parish they save the communion wine bottles (dark green) throughout the year. They remove the labels, wash them thoroughly, and fill with Holy Water (new printed label) at Easter. They are available for those parishioners who want them.

I do the same.

I print out a home-made label and glue it on the bottles. I choose bottles that don’t have anything printed on the lids.
 
down here people go to the Basilica which has a holy water fountain outside with several faucets carrying empty gallon milk and juice jugs, jars, anything else that will hold water. Holy water is an essential part of popular piety here.
 
Whatever bottle you want to use is fine. I like Jagermeister bottles anyway.😉
 
All sacramentals are material things set apart for sacred, spiritual and holy purposes. Considering that basic truth, how difficlut is it to go out and buy a nice looking bottle at the dollar store or a religious store? The corrosive indifference to the worldly and profane from the sacred and holy must not be ignorred. When you hold Holy water in a vessel, make your choice of vessel with spiritual reverenece for you hold what is Holy.
