Some time ago I was given a link to a website that had the Liturgical Calendar for the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales. Is this calendar only applicable to England and Wales or can it be used by Traditionalists in the United States as well?

Here’s the link to the site: lms.org.uk/find-a-mass/liturgical-calendar-2012

Thanks and God bless

I’m afraid it is only for England and Wales
I had a look on the net and found one that seems to be for the US

Thank you so much for the link to the liturgical calendar for the US. 🙂 I can use this in conjunction with the calendar I just found this morning on the FSSP website.

In searching the FSSP publications website I found that they sell a liturgical Calendar, so I will be purchasing that one soon. It will help to keep track of everything for the liturgical year.

Thanks again and God bless

You can use it to follow the universal calendar. Options for England and Wales are listed underneath the universal calendar. But yes you’re better off with a US Ordo to more closely follow the liturgical life in your country.

Thank you for your response. 🙂

But this is the kalendar for the Exrtraordinary Form of the Mass. It is the same everywhere, but with the English and Welsh saints included. No major differences in the USA or elsewhere, other than the few local feasts.

That is good to know. Thank you for the new information on the liturgical calendar.

Yes, the calendar is fine, just ignore the parts specific to the Brits.

The only problem for those of us in the US is we still need to know when to celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. John Neumann, etc … they are proper to the United States (or in the former case obviously the Americas in general).

Thanks for your response. I just received today my Liturgical Calendar 2012 from the FSSP publications so I don´t have to worry about the parts for the Brits…as you say. 😉

God bless
