Dear Catholic Answers,
I have a great desire to learn Ecclesiastical Latin. I am definetly not a Traditionalist Catholic, (I am a regular Roman Catholic) but want to be able to read and understand Church Latin, as I have a love for Gregorian Chant, and become frustrated that I can only understand a little when I hear Latin in the Liturgy and at other times in the Church.
I was looking for an online course, as my circumstances do not allow me to be able to go out and take a class, and I found this one.

$20 a month is no problem for me, and I would be happy to have a teacher who can give me feedback. I emailed the teacher, asking him whether he is a Traditional Catholic, and said he is a traditional Catholic (with a small t) and “the missal and breviary that I hope those who finish the course will read is the Tridentine Missal and Breviary.”
I know that the Tridentine Missal and Breviary are allowed by the Church in some circumstances, but this person does sound like someone in the Traditional Schism.
My questions for you are, would it be wrong for me to take this course, if I want to learn Church Latin as a regular Roman Catholic, who has no interest in the Traditional Movement?
Can you determine for me if this organization, Lumen Gentlemen Apologetics is Schismatic?
And also, I wondered, can you use the Tridentine Breviary by yourself for praying the Liturgy of the Hours? (I know the Missal can be used at Tridentine Masses that have the permission from the biship.)
And finally, is there a Novus Ordo Latin Breviary for the Liturgy of the Hours?
