Having been at death’s door myself, close enough to have seen the light of God and cross over, and yet not having finished my work on this earth and not crossed over, I would say that I am truly and overwhelmingly happy for him. I am overjoyed for him! What we see as ugly “death” here is an incredibly joyous graduation and *reunion *on the other side.
There is no such thing as any pill that will keep you alive when it is your time to cross over, just as there is no such thing as dying, (even in spite of tremendous and apparently fatal injury), when it is not your time to cross over. Life and death are in God’s hands, and people do know when their time has come…and when it hasn’t… in spite of all other worldly appearances. It is important to respect people’s dignity and choices in these matters, because you cannot tell by looking at them, and what they see, what they know, they are generally not allowed to speak of to you in this world.
