I’m buying this online but I wasn’t sure if it’s the right one. I feel like a few more beads are missing? Please take a look. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

@MikeInVA umm …After the Apostle’s Creed, comes the Lord’s prayer (Our Father) followed by 3X Hail Mary’s, and then Glory be…

I thought the Fatima prayer (which follows after Glory be…) bead is missing. Before this one (shown in the pic), i used another that actually had a separate bead ( immediately following Glory…) for Fatima prayer too . So, I was a li’l bit confused.

There is no bead for the Fatima Prayer, you pray it along with the Glory Be on the larger beads. You may have had a chaplet (a set of beads like a Rosary but with different numbers) but a traditional Dominican Rosary does not have a separate bead for the Fatima Prayer.

The vast majority of rosaries, probably 99.9 percent of them in existence, do not have a separate bead for the Fatima prayer. One is expected to say it on the “pater” bead (the one you use for the Glory Be and the Our Father for the next decade). Just say it on that bead after the Glory Be.

The Rosary is said in different ways. The minimum is:
  • One of various openings (e.g., as the Sign of the Cross plus Psalm 70 or the Creed),
  • Each mystery (of five) with Our Father and Ten Hail Mary’s and One Gloria and variable concluding short prayer,
  • One of various closings (e.g., prayer for intentions of the Holy Father).

@libbeylu I counted them and it does have 59 beads!! Thank you. ☺️
