Is this site REAL?!

Look around on the site a bit, and especially read a few sermons. It claims that everyone who is not a member of their Church and site is going to Hell. Doesn’t the Bible condemn people judging others and telling them that they are going to Hell?

I can’t believe that this site is real. People really believe these people?! They are completely brainwashing teens! I hope this site is fake.
 
Hey Kyle 8921, all you need to know is, anyone that has that blasphemous picture of Jesus on underwear should be enough.

After I saw that pic, I didn’t bother reading anymore, and I suggest you don’t either,a playstation 2 indeed.:rolleyes:

Some must be getting desperate when they have to bribe people into their Church.
 
That’s no church. It’s just a bad joke. No, it’s not real, it’s just supposed to funny.

I think it would even make Jack Chick blush.
 
That one page that I showed you migth be a joke, but the rest of the site isn’t. Click on “sermons.” Lot’s of anti-Catholic stuff there. They even go as far as calling themselves “True Christians,” and say that anyone who isn’t “true” is going to Hell. I still hope that this site is fake, though I know it’s real…
 
It is totally fake, for sure!

I’m no Baptist, but I can assure you that a Baptist would never, ever post a site like that one. That site is just as insulting to a protestant as a Catholic.

Did you like the ‘Catholic’ wear?

Hi kyle, I think I’ve seen this website before, and I knew for a fact that this is a satirical website, exaggerating the attitudes of some protestant denoms and beliefs, including the anti-catholicism, to the effect of making it funny.

It’s not a real thing, so don’t sweat it, k?

IMO, it’s outstanding - as a parody. That is what it is intended to be, and that is what it is. It succeeds by exaggerating real features of US Christianity - especially the less Christian ones.​

“The Landover Baptist Church® is not intended for readers under 18 years of age” - should be a hint of the site’s real character; as should this page:

landoverbaptist.org/tos.html -

“The Landover Baptist Church is a complete work of fiction. It is a satire/parody.”

That is as clear as one could ask for 🙂 I think it’s hysterical 😃 ##
