Good point, asia. However, some people who eat tofu bacon do so because they’re trying to cut down on the animal fat and cholesterol that real bacon contains, while still enjoying the taste and aroma of simulated bacon. But I agree that vegans and vegetarians who eat tofu bacon, as well as those who don’t eat pork products for religious reasons, would most likely not want food to taste like bacon. Not that tofu bacon does in fact taste like bacon. Not that I would know…I do find it a contradiction in terms—bacon tofu. If you don’t eat meat, why do you want your tofu to taste like meat???
No I don’t get it. Why not just have a diet of eating only chocolate and cakes?I like bacon, and when I want to eat bacon, I eat bacon.
I like tofu, and when I want to eat tofu, I eat tofu.
When I want to eat bacon, I do not eat tofu.
When I want to eat tofu, I do not eat bacon.
Get it? Got it? Good …
