Is transubstantiation considered a ‘miracle’?
In Catholic theology, transubstantiation is the miracle that occurs during Mass
If by miracle you mean something that occurs supernaturally out of the laws of physics, then yes. In fact, it is probably the most frequently-occurring and the most-witnessed miracle in the world, only it’s so mundane and intangible that we tend to bypass it.Is transubstantiation considered a ‘miracle’?
The miracles are associated with “canonized” saints. As I understand, some saints have received that label from Christian communities without any formal or Magisterial declaration. The title saint for them may or may not include miracles. Canonization has had a certain process and a history and you can read about it at Catholic Encyclopedia. For every saint, there has been at least one miracle performed right? Adding to the number of miracles performed regularly. How many saints are there? I googled it and there are many different numbers; some 800 some 10,000+
