Is writing in my Bible wrong?

well I have not been practicing my religion or faith for a long time now…I am starting to search for answers in my relegion and I am trying to strengthen my faith and my devotion. I have been reading and sometimes I willmark a spot I left off on or highlight some parts, and even write my name in it and I wanted to know if this is wrong and Desrespectful?
