Was Ishmael circumcised or not? If not, was it God’s way of distinguishing His promise to Abraham toward the linage of Jesus?
 
Ismael was still part of the covenantal family, remember God promised that Ishmael too would have very numerous descendants but it won’t be from his seed that all nations shall be blessed.
